the bond between vicinal diol (pinacol) will break and the product will be the one assuming there was a double bond where the two -OH are there and u are doing oxidative ozonolysis

HIO₄ oxidises only cis diols, while lead tetraacetate oxidises both cis and trans diols, that's why.
