What does oxoketomethyl benzene when treated with NBS in presence of CCl₄ yield?I am not sure about the nomenclature(sorry) but the structure shows a benzene ring with -OCOCH₃ at the 1-position and a double bond between the 2nd and 3 rd carbons.Is my nomenclature wrong?And are multiple products possible here?Thanks a lot.

Question unclear to me.

In general, NBS acts as a brominating agent at benzylic and allylic positions.

yes multiple products will be formed. these depend on the formation of the free radical. the main product however will be at the allyllic postions
