Funny, whenever I attempt these questions on monochloro derivatives I always get one more than what the answer is supposed to be..
There are four spots containing hydrogens so there should be four possible products. And yes, two hydride rearrangements take place in the carbocation. If someone could explain why there are 3 products...
chlorine will attack at the site 1, 2 and 3

with methyl group at the top the compound formed will be same as with methyl group at one....
