@jb6098
plz explain how u checked option 3
dekho SH- is better nu as its less e-ve than cl
2nd option ke liye se electron density by hyperconjugation
3rd option ke liye i cn't say as bidged cmpnds are not in course
logic for 4th and 1st is almost same
cud it be 1,3
1 coz nucleophilicity increases from right to left,
3 coz it is not the first one in 3 is less succeptable to stearic problems, though it is, than the 2nd one...(its locked up and thus more organised)
not 2 coz even though the charge density is more on tert butyl oxide, it is stearically more hindered than the first one...
i guess the setter jus wanted to test the thing that along with charge density factors, theres steric hinderence that comes into play when we speak of nucleophilicity...
guess kamalendu has gone offline, keeping us waiting for sumtime,
so we'l have 2 wait...
nuclophilicity decreases with increase in branching near the site of asttack.
nuclophilicity decreases with increase in electronegativity
so the ans is 1,3
