@AIEEE.....what kinds of compounds are : (ICH₂CHCH₂) and (CH₃CH₃CH₂COOH) WHICH YOU HAVE USED IN THE THIRD AND SECOND CONVERSIONS RESPECTIVELY !!

@ organic ...yes 2nd one will be done by acylation reaction
but i did in a bit diff way..i will post mine soon..

and 3rd one is OK by aieeee,,,

indraneel.......you seem to have gone berserk.....what the hell can selenium do there ??? we use Se and heat to form a complete ring when some conjugation is present in the ring !!!!
we use this concept in the conversion of benzene to anthracene using thalic anhydride!!!!
