actually it was an mcq with the question-which of these will NOT give alcohol and this was one of the answers.so it wont be alcohol.but y??wat will it give..

there is an acidic hydrogen which will be preferentially abstracted in N-H so nucleophilic addition will not take place

Bonne annee is correct , grignard reagent contains one of the strongest bases in it , i.e R- , and hence it abstracts a proton , wichwill be an acid base reaction , i.e a very fast reaction .
