oh...... its just wurtz ....... im totally blank ... gimme sum tips to remember stuff in organic
i faced the same problem
i was totally waste in organic in 11th but then after doin a couple of school tests and with passage of time ( i read BT org material 4 times all over !!!!!) - thats wat 2 yrs prep for
ull get a good command automatically
also listening to lectures wil help
watever u study in organic keep revising it is better to have notes in these topics.
if ur basics r weak, even, u can go thru icse 10th book o chem(not science) coz it'll give an intro...after that go 4 a special buk on chem, maybe mtg or pradeep/dinesh even.......i hope my suggestion is helpflower(ful)...:P
Look im also weak in chemistry
Just remember it that with NBS bromination
allylic substitution takes place
You can refer any standard book for this reaction :)
Subhash's soltn is perfect!
Jus remember NBS will always give allylic substituition!!!
