how can you get an oxime of formula C10H13O?......i mean it ought to contain a C=N group!!!
Organic compound A having formula C18H20O undergoes ozonolysis gives B & C of formula C10H12O and C has C8H8O2, B gives iodoform test positive and produces an oxime D of formula C10H13Ocompound D on treatment with PCL5/ether forms E which on hydrolysis gives F of formula C8H11N and Acetic acid.F on treatment with HNO2 followed by oxidation gives phthalic acid. Compound C on mild oxidation gives G which gives effervescence. G on treatment with HI gives p-hydroxybenzenoic acid and methyl iodide(CH3I) . Find compound A,B,C,D,E,F,G.
