1)Preparation of amino acids from Ketonic acid
2)Preparation of amino acids by Strecker method
3)Preparation of amino acids by Sorenson method
4)Preparation of amino acids fom proteins
5)Mechanism of reaction of ninhydrin with amino acids..
6)Sanger's Method
7)Edman's Method

1Yeah, I think the same.. IN ammino acids , JEE has always focused upon the chemical and physcial properties and esp. the zwitter ion and isoelectric point.. and sometimes, few questions about essential, non-essential ammino acids is asked. This is what my teacher told when we began this topic.

1Apparently, I too began Ammino acids today only in afternoon, just did few basic preparations method, names and few structures of ammino acids, isoelectric point. that's it.. few things are left still.. :) . btw.. I didn't read Sorenson method, Senger's method and Edman's method anywhere.. is there any specific book you are consulting?
