Isocynanide is -NC and cyanide is -CN-..
in Isocyanide the linkage is through Nitrogen and in cyanide the linkage is through carbon atom...
well subhomoy..i think u shud have either googled these terms or shud have seen it on wiki..b4 posting it here..coz that wud have been better...
what is Isocyanide andd what is the difference between cyanide and isocyanide!!

yup! isocyano while naming in organic compounds and N-cyano in coordination compounds
