yes,if the hybrid orbital is very large thenthe probability of finding the electron is more in a larger area. and so this surely affect the reactivity of the molecule towards the nucleophilic rxns

actually hbo means HYDROBORATION OXIDATION.
as far as i know as srinath correctly spelt HBO is unaltered by steric conditions but in a test of this site i found myself being awarded a -VE marks. so i wanted to confirm
