its (d) the NO2 is probably a typo it shud have been Br.

ill ask u the questions so that u can answer this:
(i) is COCH3 ERG or EWG?
(ii) is NO2 ERG or EWG?
Remember that Br will be attached at ortho and para wrt ERG and at meta wrt EWG

I think the ans is (d) as the position so occupied by Br (Shown incorrectly as NO2) is meta to both NO2 and COCH3 groups
