if there was no lialh4,,, then beckmann was possible...

arey the procedure u mentioned is write...in the end there will be beckmann rearrangement...in which the OH- will not attack from the side of lone pair of -NH-....that is it will attack from the opposite side....

hey yaar one shortcut for the formation of oxime....

take 2 H from N and the double bonded O(oxygen)..and eliminate them in the form of H2O....then join the carbon which was bearing oxygen and nitrogen with a double bond.......
