when it is conc.HI the products will be (CH3)3CI and CH3I.
when it is HI the products wikk be (CH3)3COH and CH3I.
How does (CH3)3C-O-CH3 reacts with conc.HI and anh.HI seperately?
I mean will the products be different or same..and what will be the products?

anhydrous HI follows Sn2(non ionised)so CH3I
and (CH3)3OH
and conc HI follows Sn1(ionised form)
