Sir its ok,, i finally figured out d ans.
Q. Which of the following ring will show substitution as well as addn. ?
a. cyclopropane
b. cyclobutane
c. cyclopentane
d. cyclohexane
This q. no one is able to ans. Because can figure out how addition will take place without presence of pi bonds. So Sir is the question wrong ?? I found this question in a renown magazine. First they gave a passage explaining how to find out Angle Strain then they asked this.
There is a second part to the question too---
Which of this will show addition only ?? :)
(Options are same).

Addition only will be by cyclopropane.
There is excessive strain angle. So It will try to break into a linear structure.
Now can you guess the first part?
electrophilic addition will also be in cyclobutane i guess.....bcoz carbon is sp3 hybridized thus angle shud be 109.5°. but it is 90°. thus angular strain and ring opens. is my answer correct??
cyclopentane and hexane will undergo substitution in the presence of hμ or light.
answer for the first one given is only cyclobutane and second one is only cyclopropane.
Since its single option correct,,Aditya i found Sir's ans more correct because its single option correct.
But Sir none of the answers match..pls help.
