IN LUCAS TEST

3Â° alcohols show turbidity immediately
2Â°alcohols show turbidity after 5 mins
1Â°alcohols show no turbidity

No lucas test is not valid for aromatic alcohals as Conc HCl and ZnCl₂ r used

as i told earlier 1st one is 1Â° so this will not show turbidity
but 2nd one is 3Â° so Lucas test will be given instantly
(i was trying to do revise my concepts as well as help u)[1]
