o-hydroxy benzioc acid has a more dipole moment than p-hydroxy benzoic acid thus it becomes more stable
Salicyclic acid is stronger thar p-hydroxybenzoic acid. Why ?? Can u pls tell the formula of Salicyclic acid too.

i think in the ortho acid the hydrogen bonding is intra and in the para the hydrogen bonding is inter..the intra bonding is weaker than inter......
