==> f = Ia/r²

So, a = g/(1 + I/mr²)
If length of inclined plane is l, then time taken = √2l/a
= √2l(1+I/mr²)/g

So, time taken is proportional to I .. hence time taken for hollow cylinder is more than solid cylinder....

by conservation of energy,
KE = loss of PE = mgh .. for all cases.

Hence: Statement (1) wrong
Statement (2) correct
