S-I there are no 2d and 3f orbitals

see manipal and rahul,
plz read what bhaiya has written in the reply before this or read any chemistry book on physical chemistry.
and don't try to guess what i am thinking.
no rahul second statement is not correct as subshells dont define the l values it is l who determines the subshell as if we are getting l values for any subshell it must exist
so statement 2 is wrong
u can explain by that l=n-1 for 2nd orbital only two values r available 0,1 so 2d does not exist same for 3f and note if magnetic quantum no. is given then also correct explantion think of m=2l-1
it is but obvious
i don't u wat u r thinking cena (WRESTLEMANIA)[7][7][7]
now the filling f orbitals follow the order
1s
2s
2p
3s
3p
4s
3d
4p
5s
4d
5p
6s
4f
5d
6p
now u can see that d starts 4m this data
that
when n=2 ,n-1 =1
l=0,1
=>0(s),1(p)
and when
n=3
l=0,2
=>0(s),1(p),2(d)
satement 2 is correct??????????????????????????how?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
AIR-1 please explain.
the answer is A, bothe statements are correct, and statement II is correct explanation of statementI
huh!!
i had doubts in d sec statement only..
now its clear fr me ....
d ans must be as u said ....
oh........... maaf kardho bhai......... maenae usko nahi dhaeka..

Ramkumar as AIR-1 has left u only tell me the correct answer if u know.
bhai jab tujhe sirf ye word chahiye thee toh reply #9 mein bhi maine yehi likha hai.
i wanted only the words u made bold .......... "if they exist"
dat was ma doubt n not d value of l.............
he he......
BHAI EK KAM KAR XI CLASS KI KOI BOOK LE KAR QUANTUM NO. REVISE KAR LE.
1.....1.......1.......1..........ONE, ONE, ONE, ONE.........................
L IS ONE FOR 3P
AIR-1,TERA QUES. HAI BHAI HAMARE ANS. TO CHECK KAR....KUCH TO BOL...........
LOOK IN SIMPLE WORDS ANS. IS
STATEMENT 1 CORRECT AND STATEMENT 2 WRONG.
so easy yaar,
jab 2d or 3f don't exist to kaahe ka l..................
@john cena .. do u say it(l) may differ for sec statement?????????
if so pls explain me... pls...

its true dat 2d and 3f orbitals are not there.......
also l=2 fr 2d and l=3 for 3f.........
statement 1 is absolutely correct
statement 2 is not strictly correct
