@ashish.....actually the answer is false!!!
the reason being..that this leads to calculation of absolute G,H an most importantly..absolute S............the question may seem lame but due to it i lost 3 mark at a test!!!!!

think about the others!!!!

I know that exact values of G,H,S cant be defined

but G is defined as H-TS

look at wiki here

look under the heading definitions

CuS , cupric sulphide also known as covellite (darker indigo-blue in colour - or rather black) is formed.

CuCl2 + H2S → CuS + 2HCl

so ...i guess.....(2) is TRUE

2> False
The formula might seem to suggest the description Cu2+, S2−. In fact the atomic structure shows that copper and sulfur each adopt two different geometries. Thus, the mineral is probably best described as consisting of both Cu2+, S2− and 2Cu+, S22−.

EN difference suggests that it might be COVALENT.

3> False

HEY ALL.......THE EQUATION IS ACTUALLY

H=G + TS

dH = dG + TdS + SdT

Now for a given reaction when temperature doesn't change :

dT = 0

so ΔG = ΔH - TΔS

Now are you convinced that 1 is true ????

yup....
