steam has more tempthan water vapour ? :P ... highly inconvinciing ans...
water vapour and steam both have the same amount heat present in tehm as latent heat . But , they don't cause the smae amoutn fo ahrm .
WHY?
might be simple yet useful I thik.

Give some qualitative explanation no?
I didn't get what u mean by Q=m.s.dt give some explanation , just giving that eqn doesn't imply the solution.
actually steam carries an extra amount of heat...i.e. latent heat to be precise latent heat of vapourisation.....thus steam is more harmful and causes severe burns
k ill explain clearly...........now u have water at 100°c.........u need to give more heat to make it into steam at 100°c.........so this extra heat which makes liq water to becum gaseous water.......makes steam more harmful than water...........................
hey u both parth & akand read the Q carefully wat ur anserng is nt asked
use both the eqn and your statement.
this is my answer , hope it's right.
for flow of heat , a temeprature difference is necessary.steam is at 100oC , thus it can give it's heat to our body whereas watervapour is at the room temperature whereas our body is generally around 37oC , so the temperature difference is not much , so the amount of heat flowing from water vapour is less than what flows from steam . I think . hope this is right ? :P my explanation seems a bit bad , others should help .
well dude this is the technical ans but ultimately sky was correct
i suppose u will not oppse me this time :)
oh....... now i understand d ques properly..................sorry 4 confusin u guyzzzz..........
o k and now u wud hav come to know that Q is much better than the Q u were thinking
