Couple of doubts

1) The dissociation const of monobasic acids A,B,C and D are 6 X 10 -4, 5 X10 -5 , 3.6 X 10 -6 and 7 X10 - 10 respectively. pH values of their 0.1 molar aqueous solution are in the order
(a) A >B> C >D (b) D>B>C>A (c)A=B=C=D (d) A>C>B>D

2) Calculate the pH of 0.10 M solution at 25 ° C which results in the formation of 0.01 % OH- ions in the reaction of CH3COO - with H2O

CH3COO - + H 2 O → CH3COOH + OH -

Q1
I ma going by approx way...
[H+]=√C.K
pH=-log[H+]=-log√C.K =-12logK.C

pH1=12[5-log6]=0.11
pH2=12[6-log5]=4.3/2=2.15
pH3=12[8-log36]=[8-2(0.78)]/2=3.22
pH4=12[11-log7]=10.15/2=5.07

D>C>B>A
