k another question,,,
suppose there's an eqn, like aA2+ -> bA5+ .... wat will be the eq wt of A?
should it be A/3?? or coeficients will play a role???

eq wt = formula wt. / n-factor,
where n- factor = valencey , basicity, acidity , change in oxidation no.,charge in radical............
so , here , eq wt = formula wt./change in oxidation no. per molecule

here, change in oxidation no = (O.N. of product - O.N. of reactant) x no. of atoms of molecule

so here , eq. wt. = formula wt./ (5 - 2) x 1 , (if A iz formula wt)
den, eq. wt. = A /3

here nothing to do wid a nd b , dey r just cofficient to balance, if dey remain as subscript den dey r used.

for element undergoing disproportionate reaction
you can take n factor as

1/neq=1/n1 + 1/n2

neq=n1n2/(n1+n2)

Eq. Wt=M/neq

Actually I found it myself by taking some examples

still don't know if its applicable in all conditions
