Why the shape of ICl4- is planar and that of ClF3 is not?
Both ICl4- & ClF3 have 2 lone pairs of electrons, but the dipole moment of ICl4- is zero while that of ClF3 is not. Please explain

shape of ICl4- is square planar so the dipole moment becomes zero as it cancels out while in ClF3 it is T shape, so dipole moment exists
