3g moles wats dat?
3g is the mass or is it 3 moles?
[2] [2] pls help
yaar mujhe chemical equillibrium main dikkat aarahi hai pls help karo badi basic doubts aarahi hai .....
jaise yeh question hai
3g mole of pcl5 is heated in a flask of 4ltrs at equillib it dissociates to pcl3 and cl2 degree of dissociation is 40% calc equllibrium constant ...
isme ek baat btao
pcl5 ==> pcl3 + cl2
a(1-x) ax ax
a= 3 x = 0.4 v = 4
yaar mujhe yeh step nahi samaj aaya hum yeh line kaise likhte hai ?????

usse important can u explain me yeh line likhte kaise hai mai bhul gaya [2]
mushkil aggar 4 mein hai to
woh to aata hi hai
dont u remember that the next step after ur words is that divide both RHS and LHS by 4
U HAVE TO CONSIDER THE VOLUME TO FIND K
yaar manipal pls mujhe pehli waali line samjha de yeh waali line likhte kaise hai ???
yaar mujhe pehle pls wo line btao ! plsss
see degree of dissociation is 40%
==> ki out of the reactants.. 40% of it will dissociate at equilibrium i.e. take part in the reaction.
So. u can do this is two ways.
initially there are 3 mo0les of reactants out of which 40% dissociates ..
So, at equilibrium moles of reactants = 0.6*3 = 1.8
Now. 1 mole of PCl5 gives one mole each of PCl3 and Cl2.
So. moles of PCl3 = molesof Cl2 = moles of PCl5 that reacted = 0.4*3 = 1.2
Second method is wat u have mentioned..
Out of one mol.. 0.4 mol dissociates as deg of dissociation = 40%..
Now suppose there are a moles of reactants. Then moles of reactants dissociated = a.x
Moles of reactants remaining = a-ax = a(1-x)
Now. moles of reactant dissociated = moles of PCl3 = moles of Cl2 = ax ..
Suppose it was 2Cl2 then 1 mole of reactant wud give 2 moles of Cl2.. then it wud have been 2ax.
In this problem.. so, the equilibrium constant = written in my next to next post
isme ek baat btao
pcl5 ==> pcl3 + cl2
a(1-x) ax ax
a= 3 x = 0.4 v = 4
yaar it is given that 40 % is dissociated that means that 60 % is left a(1- 40/100) = .6 a .. yeah to clear hoga
ab yeh dekho 1 PCl5 on dissociation gives 1 PCl3 and 1 Cl2 so ax PCl5 that is 40a/100 PCl5 gives 40a/100 PCl3 and 40a/100 Cl2 and hence
the K = [ PCl3][Cl2]/[ PCl5] = [.4a/V][.4a/V]/[.6a/V] = .12/.18 = 2/3
Asish equilibrium constant takes consideration of molar concentration and not moles. = 0.2
3 gram molecules 3 mole hota hai .. 3 gram moles kuch nahi hota hai
haan 0 .2 hi hai
@ankit jo book main tha maine wahi likha ... mujhe bhi palle nahi par raha tha ...
yup mera answer wrong hai sorry for misleading ... [156]
wrong calculation
