This is my first physical chem doubt in a long while on chapter "Solution."Pls solve it.
The vapour pressure of ethanol and methanol are 44.5 and 88.7mmHg respectively.An ideal solution is formed at the same temperature by mixing 60g of ethanol with 40g of methanol.Calculate the total vapour pressure of the solution and the mole fraction of mehanol in the vapour?
(I mainly have my doubt in the second part of the question)

ymethanol = Pmethanolxmethanol/ Ptotal
where x gives the mole fraction of substances added initially in the solution
buddy,u cn easily find the molefractions and thn find out the partial pressures of ethanol and methanol using: PA=POA* XA.ADD THEM TO GET TOTAL VAPOUR PRESSURE OF SOLUTION and then
mole fraction of methyl alchohol in vapour= its partial preessure/total v.p.
