Vicky.....
i got that before u gave the solution....yepieee....
Black stands for black's pieces, the other colour is for white. P stands for pawn. All other notations are standard. Its black's turn to play. Tell me how black can win in 3 moves. This puzzle is pretty nice, in that it involves 2 good tricks, one being seemingly suicidal (but actually helpful in this case). Try it out.
Vicky.....
i got that before u gave the solution....yepieee....
abhirup, u have another choice: What if u put white's king in check?
philip can you tell me your entire soultion? ur first step is correct.
of corce vicky i am no more in class 2 and many of the class 2 children (except me perhaps [2]) wud tell that move the bishop for an indirect check and then of cource the rook's the crook
Where are u moving black's bishop? aur lagta hai hum dono ne ek sath post kiya is liye woh gadbad hui. :)
bataya toh left ki taraf bhai or hum tumko kya batade
jitna left ho sake utna le jao........
ab jao main aage ka nahi bataunga pura pura saaf hai fir bhi jabardazti post badhwae jaa rahe ho
@ abhirup
Yes that's the required move, coz only that puts white under a double check, and the white king must move to c8 or e8(coz u can't capture or block 2 pieces at once), followed by mate by black's rook: Rd8++
sorry philip but mujhe teri "left ki taraf" aisi bhasha nahi samjhi. I'm assuming that by "left" u mean Ba5+. My apologies for that misunderstanding.
move the queen rite up next to the wite king and that will do him in eventually.........
yes i got it and note abhirup that wite cant give a hair about anything after that
you want full soln or that suffices ......
rest of it is a piece of cake.
good question sad that it took almost 30 posts to get an answer
Amazing abhirup!! Why didn't u post that solution then?? That queen sacrifice followed by the double check makes this question truly beautiful.
ya ya right i accept that haha.... ur post#41 sounds so ironical to me, especially the part with Vishy. That puzzle was not made by me, and nor was its solution, let me tell you.
that post was meant to be ironical
the way you asked me the fullest of solution even when after the first move it must have been obvious.......
but notwithstanding irony(or the rest of it) i really meant that you both are genius (not necessarily here but just looking at all your prev. posts tells me this . seriously.)
this is similar to the game b/w
reti Vs tartakower in 1910 s.Vienna austria
watch tat game
in the fifth move wat is the necessary to keep the white bishop there
he can keep it in opp to black queen
yeh kafi gnahda q hai
i hav one more of this type
no of ways in wich first three moves of chess can b played ??
never try .......:P xcept u hav loads of tym
@srinath
Nice work!! srinath's solution is the one i was expectin.
@shreyan
shreyan, what if white plays Nd7 in his first move (going for defense instead of offense), then black's queen would not be able to mate so easily... as u can see in srinath's solution, white is "powerless to stop the slaughter" by black (quoting from the book where i saw this puzzle). If u're still not convinced that srinath's solution is the only one, you play as black and i'll play as white, n then let's see if u can mate in 3 moves using some other technique. Good work even then, but ur solutionl work only if white plays as u want him to, which is not necessary at all.
i used to play a bit of chess against the computer.. but was damn bad at it..
dotn know how many good chess players are here ;)
first put N to right top........and put the Q in the opponent kings left bottom....ur the Winner(Black).....check it out.......[1][1][1].......
am i rite bhaiyya......i knw ur a Grandmaster in Chess.......plzzz check it whether am rite or wrong.........
