A solid metallic sphere in a uniform electric field..how to draw..lines of force
Now if the solid metallic sphere is to be replaced by a hollow metallic sphere, how will the field lines look like.
Again draw the lines of forces if the spheres were non metallic (Non conducting)

1@Tush:How does field lines intersect, as you have in the second one?
1I think the electric line of forces would just graze each other, parallel to each other, at the centre, then diverge.

NOTE:DESNSITY OF FILED LINES INCREASES LINEARLY WITH DISTANCE FROM THE CENTRE :) and obviously they DON't INTERSECT ANYWHERE LOLZZZZZZ!
