9. doesnt exist
I think there is a lot of confusion on limits due to a post on forum
let us do the following problems...
Find the following
\\1) \lim_{x\rightarrow 1} (x^{n}) \\ \\2) \lim_{x\rightarrow 1^+} (x^{n}) \\ \\3) \lim_{x\rightarrow 1^-} (x^{n}) \\ \\4) \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}\lim_{x\rightarrow 1^-} (x^{n}) \\ \\5) \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}\lim_{x\rightarrow 1^+} (x^{n}) \\ \\6) \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}\lim_{x\rightarrow 1} (x^{n}) \\ \\7) \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty, x\rightarrow 1^+} (x^{n}) \\ \\8) \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty, x\rightarrow 1^-} (x^{n}) \\ \\9) \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty, x\rightarrow 1} (x^{n}) \\ \\10) \lim_{x\rightarrow 1^+}\lim_{n\rightarrow \infty} (x^{n}) \\ \\11) \lim_{x\rightarrow 1^-}\lim_{n\rightarrow \infty} (x^{n}) \\ \\12) \lim_{x\rightarrow 1}\lim_{n\rightarrow \infty} (x^{n}) \\

hey guys actual the doubt is q4,5,6 nq 7,8,9 r to be cnsidered different give ur views
5 th 4th 6th .........7th 8th 9th yeh q's same hai na ? (pairs)
in 4 and 5, whats the use of lim n-->∞ ????????? , there will be no "n" after applying the first limit
aacha ismein lim ek bar aara hai aur usmein doh bar :O
iska matlab kya hua?
hey actually the basic confusion arise frm the post lim it rocks calculas by powerplay 92 see it then u ll get the thing
i think for 4 , 5 , 6
first v evaluate x->1 and n -> ∞
but for 7, 8 , 9 v put limits for both simultanoeusly.....
sum1 correct me if i m wrong
