Force seems correct.
Could you solve for efflux velocity thats more important part?
Paragraph
n moles of Helium gas is filled in a thermally insulated vessel at a temperature T. From a very small orifice of area A gas is coming out. Given V is volume of container and M is molecular mass of gas.
[Assume outside pressure to be zero.]
Question 1
Velocity with which gas is coming out is?
Question 2
Force exerted by escaping gas on container will be?

The 1st qsn just needs an application of Bernoulli-eqn...
PV=nRT, so P comes out to be nRTV.
Density d= nMV
Now applying Bernoulli, we have
nRTV=nMk22V, where k is the efflux vel.
Solve for k.
Force is A.nMVk2.
Correct me if wrong.
