sin 2θ = 1/4
Now see that (sin θ + cos θ)2 = 1 + 1/4 = 5/4
Now can u try? the rest is in your face ;)

sin 2θ=14
64(sinθ+cosθ) -8(1cosθ+1sinθ) +sin2θ+cos2θsinθcosθ
=64(sinθ+cosθ) -8sinθ+cosθsinθcosθ+1sinθcosθ
Multiplying and dividing by 2 in the second and the third fraction
=64(sinθ+cosθ) -16sinθ+cosθ2sinθcosθ+22sinθcosθ
=64(sinθ+cosθ) -16sinθ+cosθsin2θ+2sin2θ
sin 2θ=1/4
=64(sinθ+cosθ) -64(sinθ+cosθ)+8
=8 (Ans)
