Ques) Prove that the series ab + (a+x)(b+x) + (a+2x) (b+2x)+ ........+2n terms. The excess of sum of last n terms over the sum of first n terms is to the excess of the last term over the first as n2 to 2n-1.

Tr = (a-r+rx)(b-r+rx) =(a-r)(b-r)+r x(a+b-2r) + r2x2

we have to take summation over r going from 0 to (2n-1)

That is all :)
