Hey its simple
1) Area = base* dist bet parallel sides
2) dist bet parallel sides = |b| sin teta
3) Hence area is
|a||b|sin teta= |a X b|
1)can u please give me a easier proof for the area of parallelogram whose adjacent sides are represented by a→and →b
2)can u please derive me the volume of the tetrahedron using vectors???

i think 2nd part is somewhat like this(though I dont remeber exactly....so forgive me if something goes wrong)
(Area of base )(height)/3
=>1/3 (1/2 (b cross c)) mod(a) cosθ
=>1/6 (b cross c) mod(a) cosθ
=>1/6 (b cross c).a
=>1/6[abc]
where [ ] is STP
