in solving this question i have a doubt can we take 5 white balls as identical or not.can u explain for ur reasons

and sankara... its a nice doubt :)

they are taken as distinct or else ... probabilty of getting three white bals out of 13(5white+8red) wud have been ... 1/2 i think ... [becos two colors]... am not sure abt this..

ONLY if they are distinct u can make selection..
