your last 2 equations are kind of sufficient to evaluate the value of t1 and t2..

Then put the value of t1 and t2 in the first equation to eliminate t1 and t2..

Even though the question can be solved without much difficulty.. but the clumsiness of the answer makes me feel that you have mistyped somewhere... (I may be wrong though)
