i have heard from many that we have to study selectively from
higher algebra-by hall n knight.
plz tell me which chapters we have to read for jee+aieee+bits
and which all can be left out
24Study ch4,5,6,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16(not all),17,19,23(for integration),29,32,33,35.
read ch 30 if u r intrested in maths very much......but just dont read it..have a grip on that chapter..it will help u in future.
others are of no use for JEE,AIEEE....but u should read them after exams are over....just for fun(like I am doing at the moment)

so hall n knight covers entire theoretical portion(concepts)of algebra
for jee+aieee.
or do we need to study other things(for algebra) also from some other sources
24hall and knight doesnt include complex nos.....
u can do that from Titu Andreescu's book...
for practice on algebra u should have either TMH or A dasgupta.[1]
