kaunse color ki baat kar rahe ho?
Probability will be different for each color.........give the exact qsn....(source is obviously FIITJEE).
A bag contains n identical red balls , 2n identical black balls & 3n identical white balls .
If probability of drawing n balls of same colour is equal to 1/6 , then minimum no of red balls in the bag is equal to ?

NO Soumik
For FIITJEE's Qs I got the solution but I wanted know how if the qs was like this
Ok Let the colour be RED
REQUEST
(Even if the qs is wrong since it's self prepared plz post u're ideas (Leave the numerical part) how to tackle if the qs was like this)
Not much sure....
But if it is red....then the number of cases when 'n' identical balls of same color (here red) is picked is 1....
On the contrary,
the number of ways of selecting n identical balls of same color is 6nCn..... So here i don't think any such integer n will satisfy this eqn, as we have 16(6n-1)(6n-2)....5n=16.
