Matrix for which AX=XA

Determine all 2 by 2 matrices "A" such that AX=XA for any 2 by 2 matrix X.

Aside: I have often said this.. Uptil a long time I used to think why we are taught that
(a+b)+c = a+(b+c) and a+b=b+a .. etc etc...

We used to laugh at being taught this..

Now that I think of it, the person who has put this in syllabus himself does not realize that these properties cannot be appreciated at class VI or VII level as we are taught this then! these properties should be rather taught at class XI or XII level!

As long as I was at your level, i would also think that it was a bit too stupid for those rules to exist at the first place..

but anyways.. this problem here is simple..
