Sum of the digits of the given number is 30.
Hence it is divisible by 3 but not by 9(i.e 32).
Therefore it can never be a perfect square.

- Dwijaraj Paul Chowdhury i'm sorry ...i meant sum of the digits being 30. doesnt prove it is a perfect square...does it?
- Shaswata Roy ???sum of digits is 30 which is divisible by 3 making the no. divisible by 3.But it is not divisible by 9 since the sum if the digits is not divisible by 9.Hence the number cannot be a square.
- Swarna Kamal Dhyawala @shaswata is this a rule that for a number to be a perfect square the sum of digits shoukd be divisible by 3 and 9
- Swarna Kamal Dhyawala *should
- Hardik Sheth @swarna..it has only one factor of three and for a perfect square, another factor shud b der, wich is not der..
- Swarna Kamal Dhyawala ok thanks i got it
