49driver seat can be filled in by 2 ways, next seat by 5 ways n back seat by 4 ways....so ans is 2*5*4=40
1I think they have considered the seating as combination and not permutation.
But don't u think that this should be permutation?
e.g. say 2 persons A and B are to be seated in the front and rear respectively,after the sitting of the driver(who can be selected in 2 ways).now in case (i) A sits in front and in (ii) he sits in rear.shouldn't these 2 be different?
