If a and b are chosen randomly from set containing {1,2,3,4,5,6} with replacement,find probablity so that \lim_{x\rightarrow 0}\frac{a^x-b^{\frac{x+2}{x}}}{2}=6
I couldnt understand why this limit was given.

its perhaps given so , to get the values of a and b , as d set is fixed. after u get a and b u cn find the prob.

Try and show that b=1
But first look I dont see the answer being 1/9

sorry sir made a mistake in ques
its lim (ax+bx2)2/x
x→0
which is equal to ab
so ab=6
=> pairs possible=(3,2),(2,3)(1,6),(6,1)
P=1/9
