now 2s=2+4+8+16+........âˆž

so, 2s=s-1
s=-1

but, s=1+2+4+8+16+..........âˆž
i.e., s=+ve

so,-1 is positive

Still see the basic problem here is the assumption that the sum is well defined

Once we assume it to be S, we have made a mistake..
