Sum of Series

S_n = x + x² +x⁴ + ..... +x^2ⁿ

i remeber man111 posting a question some time ago related to this

i think when |x|<1 and nâ†’âˆž , this sum should be converging which is why i am interested to find the result.

plz try this problem

Wouldn't the infinite GP formula Suffice ? with r = x² and it converges since |x| <1

@ vivek - check the last term properly, it is x^2ⁿand not x²ⁿ
