Depends on the coeffiicents are real or complex

If the coefficients are real then the roots are conjugate.. otherwise they are not!

In most questions it is generally phrased like

"a quadratic with real coefficients"

in our syllabus there r quadratic equation with real coefficients only !!!!!!!!!
refer to the syllabus
there is no ques with complex coefficients
