Consider an equation f'(x) ≡ ax2+bx+c = 0

If f(0) = f(-1)

what will be the value of the limits in which roots of f'(x) lie ?

Another question with this : limits of roots of f(x) = ?

f(0) = f(-1)

so by rolle's theorem,

f'(x) is zero between these two numbers...

If you attended the last class, then you will realize what I said (without stating the theorem whcih I will do later... or may be you studied this in school?) about crossing the river ?
