if a function f(x) is defined in [-1,1] and two vertices of an equilateral triangle are (0,0) and (x,g(x)) and it's area is √3/4, then g(x) is

A,√(1+x2)
B.-√(1+x2)
C.√(1-x2)
D. none of these

actually i am not getting the question itself ...i feel something is missing out there ...can somebody guess by taking a look at the options ?if there is no mistake please explain the question also !!:) :) :)

ans is C , they just give Y=F(x)=G(x)

they just give y=f(x)=g(x)!!!!
what does that mean ?

Q is wrong they must mention f(x) = g(x)
