Could you show how you got your result... may be your mistake can be pointed and corrected.
All points on the curve y2=4a(x+asin(x/a)) at which the tangents are parallel to the X axis lie on which curve ?
I solved it and got x=aπ
But answer is a parabola
Please give the right solution :-)

Equating the slope to zero is okay. But then you get
1+ cos(x/a)=0 i.e. cos(x/a) = -1.
For this x/a = π is not the only solution since cos is periodic. cosine becomes -1 whenever its argument is an odd multiple of pi i.e. x = (2n+1)aπ
But at these points sin becomes zero... now can you see why the answer given is a parabola.
