f(x) = x6 + ax5 + bx4 + cx3 + dx2 + ex + f
f(1) = 1, f(2) = 2, f(3) = 3, f(4) = 4, f(5) = 5, f(6) = 6
then f(7) = ??

And a question that has come in some maths olmpiad.. which i dont remember cos i dont have the memory of Prophet sir ;)
Look at f(x)-x it is a 6 degree polynomial with 6 roots.. namely 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6.. there cant be more.
Hence f(x)-x = (x-1)(x-2)(x-3)(x-4)(x-5)(x-6)
Substitute x=7 to get f(7)=7+6!
