first draw y=|sin x|+|cos x|
Then draw the second part..
You need those points where |sin x|+|cos x|=0 or 1 (It cant be 2)

lsinxl + lcosxl can never be equal to zero.
so as LHS is an integer,
and RHS cant be -ve,0 or 2 hence it can be only 1.
So u have to find where lsinxl+lcosxl=1
in 1st quad.
sinx+cosx=1
=> cos(x-Π/4) = 1√2 = cosΠ/4
=> x= 0 or x=Î /2
further the function has period Î /2. Hence u can now draw the graph
we have [y]=1 and x=nÎ /2
