f(x)|=(sin^2X-1)^n (2+cos^2x) then x=∩/2 is a point of ??????
whether local maimum. or local minimum considering n odd and even
x=∩/2 is a point of ??????
whether local max. por local minimum considering n odd or even
abhishek can you post your question more clearly ?
I did not understand much :(
f(x)|=(sin^2X-1)^n (2+cos^2x) then x=∩/2 is a point of ??????
whether local maimum. or local minimum considering n odd and even
2 + cos2x is always positive
when n is odd : (sin2x - 1)n is always negative except when sinx = 1 at which it attains the maximum value of 0.
so x = ∩/2 is a point of maximum when n is odd
when n is even : (sin2x - 1)n is always positive except when sinx = 1 at which it attains the minimum value of 0.
so x = ∩/2 is a point of minimum when n is even
